... and a wave of melancholy sweeps through me, eradicating all other feelings.

and for reasons I know not, I am both awake and weary.

My body won't let me sleep past 8.

And yet life has never felt so empty, so meaningless.

All the computer games I wanted to play seem so devoid of fun now that school has ended.

School.

I guess it was only worth it for the people.

The chance to interact with others. With friends. With strangers.

And now that school has ended.

Back to the same isolation.

Back to the quest to find just a modicum of meaning to my life.

Back to square one.
