Happiness: The temporary illusion of well-being when chemicals are secreted by the brain when certain conditions are fulfilled, usually pertaining to the satisfaction of material needs. Generally the experience of anything which obeys the laws of Darwinism, i.e. leads to the continuity of one's own species (for which survival is -often- a pre-requisite) leads to happiness. Is NOT a zero-sum game, since each individual has his or her own capacity for happiness, however often ACTS like one, in which more often than not to make others happy one has to sacrifice one's own happiness, and likewise to be happy often comes at the cost of the happiness of others.
Friendship: The temporary truce in which individuals unanimously obey an usually unspoken agreement not to exploit each other for one's own material gain. Invariably ends when one of the individual breaches the unspoken agreement and the other party finds out, or when one of the individual SUSPECTS the other of doing so.
Obviously I'm feeling rather optimistic today.
Well, for several reasons I'm obliged to do well at least for A levels, I'm obliged to serve in NS for what my country has given me, but after that I'm not longer obliged to do anything. And finally I can leave this world without having any obligations left.
Was the cup full or empty to begin with? Was the cup half-emptied or half-filled? Does it actually matter? For a fact, the cup can appear to be at half of its maximum storage capacity but is in reality already at its fullest. But it cannot possibly be at its minimum storage capacity. Thus it is in a state where it can most definitely get emptier, but possibly get no fuller. And life is certainly like that. You can never be guaranteed of being better off the next moment, but you know for certain that it is definitely possible that you could always be worse off. There is no such thing as 'too worse'. The word 'worst' only has any meaning relative to others in a defined group, for eventually there will always be something worse-er than 'worst', and the meaning of 'worst' will then have no meaning.
