Humans are one big mistake aren't they? Not the mistake in the joke where the conceiving of babies is the mistake in itself, but the fact that humans are the evolutionary byproduct of a million years of selective mutations. I mean, mutations themselves are a mistake, aren't they? The failure of cells to successfully replicate themselves resulting in mistakes, which may turn out to be good or bad. Enough good mistakes over a suitably long time, or so it is argued, and we get the living creatures that we have today.
So life is a mistake. Not necessarily a bad one. Think of the mistakes you make in some sports, like say, Badminton. You swing the racket a fraction of a second too early, and you hear the metallic ping as the frame of the racket collides against the shuttlecock, sending the shuttlecock several meters short of the intended target. However, it still clears the net, and your opponent, anticipating a more powerful shot, is not in time to save the shuttlecock. You get the point. In more ways than one.
Mistakes. I'm bored. I'm thinking typing this is a big mistake. I'm thinking I should be either sleeping or studying, not thinking of random crap. Then again, maybe this isn't such a bad mistake. I don't know. Screw this.
