This applies to many things.
For example, in bowling, you can't see your own mistakes. Or at least I can't. About others I know not. Which explains the need for coaches. And videoing. And friends.
You could be making a huge mistake but feel like you're doing the same thing as before. You won't be able to tell until someone points it out to you.
