"Love the ones you can. Touch the ones you can reach. Let the others go."
Think of it this way. All people are truly selfish. Even those who give their lives for others might be doing so because they would rather die than live and face the guilt of knowing that he or she might have saved said person. It's wired into our brains. We act upon our own selfish impulses. If we make others happy, its just a coincidental by-product. Everyone is selfish.
Sometimes unluckily some people's selfish-ness lead to the others around them being unhappy. These people get despised...
And sometimes some people's selfish-ness lead to the others around them being happy. These people are well-liked...
If making someone happy makes you happy, then by making someone happy, aren't you being selfish in fulfilling your own desires?
I seemed to have talked about this before, but I can't get it off my mind now.
186.3km is a long long way to go... literally. 26.5km per week.
Considering I cant jog everyday, that means Sunday mornings will be dedicated to at least 10km to meet my goal. Which still leaves at least 3 sessions of 5.5km per week. Not good... maybe this Sunday I'll jog to Vivo and back, cutting the numbers by 20.
Should be posting a map of my jogging path here every time from now on.
