Anyway when it comes to learning we cannot be restricted by examples and such. Especially in mathematics and physics. The key to learning is the method, the reasoning, the means. Familarising oneself with specific problems and examples will help, but is ineffecient and requires alot of effort. If one were to practice questions without knowing how to do them, one would need to practice ALOT of questions to do well for any test. By contrast, if one were to understand the method to solve the various questions, one would be able to answer many questions with minimal effort.
