Today... was an unusual day.
For a first I woke up at 7. Considering I slept at 4 this morning, that in itself is pretty unusual. However, more unusual was the fact that I woke up refreshed, so much so that I thought I had overslept and that it was in the afternoon. Perhaps my quality of sleep is inversely proprotionate to the amount of sleep I actually get.
And slacked my time away till 11 on facebook and whatnot.
So I left the house. Reached Marina Square at 12. While waiting for others to show up, went to try out the bowling alley first.
And each game is like 4.40. That's 22 cents per ball you throw, and 44 cents should you accidentally strike. Considering the lanes loooked like shit (imagine charred wood for the first half of the lane), with basically no oil and gaps between the boards, I decided to just experiment and have fun with the lanes.
Found out that I could make an outrageous ball path with a 12 lb plastic houseball on this shitty lane. Essentially throwing from 1 board on the lane to the left, lofting it about 1/3 ways down the lane, reaching 1 board on the lane and hooking back into pocket. With a freaking house ball. Basically something like this:
I don't want to imagine what I would get with a reactive ball. Insane ball speeds would be needed in order not to overhook. That, or I could like loft the ball 40 ft down straight to the break point.
Anyway after that met some people from Ning Yu's og for lunch before going down to watch Huang Cheng. A certain idiot couldnt find the bowling alley, which was like smack above where we were gonna end up eating. Anyway eat KFC with 5 others, walk abit and went off to Victoria Concert Hall. Met quite a few Hwa-Chongians on the way there.
The play itself.. was quite ok. I find that I can relate to alot of elements in the stories, even if they are rather cliched. At least it was sort of worth the money...
And followed by one and a half hour of talking and slacking at Macs... with Ning Yu and Hui Ming. Oh geeze.
I guess I shall stop delibrately irritating some people around me.
